When technologies connect or separate people, they become media.
Technologies embody social, political, cultural, economic and philosophical ideas and relationships.
When a medium is new, it is often used to simulate old media.
New media do not replace old media, they displace them.

This is point of our class, so far
We need explanation of fourth point, and definition of replace and displace
Replace is that something with same function ,but different material is changed
For example, Blackboard eraser replaces tissue is correct sentence
Displace is that something with expended function , and without useless function is changed

After We studied this sentence “ People make media and then media make people “

When I saw it, I don’t know what “media makes people” means , till professor explained what it means
It means … For example
When we call name of friend, We can imagine the friend that is, name makes people.
As media’s connection trait , We can talk that name is media

This example help us understand the sentence (media makes people)

There is another example
We saw passion at internet or tv and buy the dress and wear it
If we extend meaning , Internet or tv makes people’s appearance
And because We can talk Internet or tv media , We can understand “media makes people”

what is the stated motivation of the research?
“The WWW was developed to be a pool of human knowledge, which would allow collaborators in remote sites to share their ideas and all aspects of a common project

My idea about WWW : Existence of The idea(www) is from ancient ,[The idea = If we can gather human knowledge, human’s civilization is developed quicky] but, in ancient there is no technology . thus I feel , Technology is very important For supporting fantastic idea
And WWW have graphical interface , I Think it was very useful and innovation


WWW is a collaboratively authored hypertext
If we join internet and write only a word , We talk that we collaborate with world people
Thus , We define WWW collaboratively authored hypertext
And at WWW, standard is very important. Without standard, We can’t communicate each other
And WWW is useless

First of all , We studied html. Html is hypertext markup language , that is , language for express hypertext at internet

And we studied “ what is WWW ? How big is it ?, How fast is it, what is the history of it, what does the web look like in-the-large? “ Detail explanation is site address of professor’s ppt

And We studied 1:1 , IP address, URI and ,, etc
And when professor said visualization of Naver data , I realized important of information visualizing

This week , We studied Hypertext. Hypertext is Hyper + Text and It is computer term.
dataily, formal explanation is One way that digital media has been understood is as new forms of writing, reading and thinking.
and It helps us easily find information which We want.

Wednesday , We studied what media means. When digital media technologies connect or separate people , We call it media. As we talk trait of connection , following sentence can be good example.

We think people of good car is good people , We connect good car with good people.
Book can connect World people.
President MB affects polity, culture, economy that is , MB is connected with polity, culture, economy.
